-Music: Second to drinks this is the most important thing to consider regarding a pre. I'm from the GTA (Sauga) and I went to uni in Kingston so I can only speak on what genres people typically like from that area, but for a pre it's best to resort to hip-hop/RnB. Personally, I think it's key to throw in some afro beats in there but it's not for everyone. (especially not in Kingston). This is all crowd dependent though. Don't throw on trap music or drill if there are girls present, that should be common sense.
-Drinks: This shouldn't be complicated, but try to have a good mix of drinks based on what your friends like. Generally have like 2 options for beer and then 2 options of liquor, so like a case of molson, case of coors, then for liquor a 750ml of rum, bacardi/capt morgan etc (I've never met someone who doesn't prefer dark spiced) and then some jack daniels. This is just an example. For chase, obviously have coca-cola for the liquor mix but different juices like orange and pineapple wouldn't hurt.
-Cups: Please have cups...
-Temperature: If there's no A/C available try your best to get fans and open some windows if its before fall. Depending on how many people show up it'll keep getting hotter the more people come.
-Games: Your choice on drinking games to play but the go to would be pong (hard to set up when there's no space though
-People: I mean your inviting your friends so this shouldn't be an issue, but if there's two people in the friend group that have beef then they can't be at the pre together. This has ruined a lot of pre's and nights out. Even if nothing sparks up it just creates this tension and awkwardness that's unnecessary.
